WEDDING CELEBRANT/ OFFICIANT
Lisa-Marie Walker is a wedding celebrant/officiant. Like a wedding commissionaire, she has the authority to solemnize marriages according to the Province of Alberta.
Lisa does not book multiple weddings in one day, she books one ceremony/day, giving her full attention to the couple she is representing. Lisa is not bound by particular language, allowing for creative freedom to craft a unique ceremony that is just right for your wedding.
Wedding Packages
“FULL BLOOM” CEREMONY PACKAGE (Personalized Ceremony, Rehearsal Included)
$650.00 plus an additional 5% GST – Calgary and surrounding area.
$175 addition charge for Banff/Canmore weddings.
Includes:
- An In person meeting to discuss your wedding
- A fully personalized ceremony in a style that resonates with you as a couple.
- Assistance with writing your vows (if needed)
- Battery powered microphone & amp if needed.
- Unlimited contact during the process of creating your unique ceremony.
- All travel fees
- Submission of Marriage Licence to Alberta Vital Statistics
- Proof of marriage document from me.
- A keepsake copy of your vows and marriage blessing.
- A full rehearsal at the venue prior to the wedding day.

“THE GREENERY” LEGALIZING YOUR MARRIAGE AFTER DESTINATION WEDDING (No Ceremony, No Rehearsal)
$200.00 plus an additional 5% GST – Destination/ Signing (Legal paperwork)
Includes:
- Marriage Statement (Legal Component)
- Bride, Groom, Two Witnesses
- Submission of Marriage Licence to Alberta Vital Statistics
- Proof of Marriage document from me
- Takes place at my home or your chosen location within Calgary

What’s Next?
ARRANGE A MEETING
Please contact Lisa to check your date’s availability and arrange a meeting to discuss your ceremony. If we decide we are a good fit, we will sign a contract, you will put down a deposit and I will book your date. The journey begins!
A deposit of $150 is required to secure your wedding date and time; the remainder is due one week before the commencement of the Marriage Ceremony. Every effort is made to accommodate last minute ceremonies. All ceremonies are booked by appointment only.
OBTAINING A MARRIAGE LICENCE
Alberta marriage Licences are available from any registry agent in Alberta. You must give me, the officiant, your marriage licence prior to the ceremony. I am responsible for mailing it after the ceremony is completed. You may go to this website for further information and to order a marriage certificate post wedding.
