Crafting one of a kind ceremonies to mark life's thresholds and transitions.
Lisa-Marie is a Metaphysical Minister, registered Wedding Officiant, Funeral Celebrant and Life Cycle Ceremonialist. Lisa Marie joyfully serves Calgary and surrounding areas including Banff and Canmore.
What is Ceremony?
Ceremony and ritual are forms of prayer, offering and dialogue. They are important ways to mark transitions, gain support and sustain ourselves through both the joyous and the difficult passages in life. Often we move from one experience to another without giving ourselves rightful transition.
Lisa-Marie takes great pleasure in holding space for those rites of passage which are sacred and deserving of our attention, and she looks forward to empowering you in a ceremony that reflects you and your process.
Here's what clients are sharing:
“Lisa went beyond all our expectations. She beautifully created- Malynne & Rory O’Connor
personalized rituals and ceremony, encompassing both my and my
Husband’s individual beliefs and backgrounds. Lisa took the time to
get to know my Husband and our love story, then thoughtfully and
gracefully shared it with our community. Lisa has an incredible
ability to make a sizable outdoor wedding feel intimate and cozy
while managing to include every single guest in the ceremony. Lisa is
truly gifted. By tailoring our ceremony to our unique love story, Lisa
made our wedding extraordinary.”
” Our family engaged Lisa to officiate a graveside interment for my father this summer.
In a pre meeting she deeply listened to us discuss our fathers character which was healing in itself.
She then crafted a casual and intimate service that was inclusive of everyone attending while capturing the essence of the man.
We are profoundly grateful to Lisa for helping us create the ceremonial container that brought healing and closure for our family and friends.”

“After being hit by a car on my bike and shattering my jaw. I went through 6 years of dental work and a soul wringing lawsuit. When it was over, Lisa suggested I do a closing ceremony with her guidance. I gathered the friends that helped me get through, and we (metaphorically) laid to rest the heavy baggage I had accumulated over those years. It was very emotional and meaningful, and I don’t think I could have moved on as well as I have without Lisa and the ceremony! Thank you Lisa!!!!”- Closure
“Lisa brings a deep understanding of symbol, ritual and meaning into her work with couples. She immediately understood that this was a spiritual and communal event in our lives, and worked with us to create a ceremony that reflected our lives and values.”- Eastham Ford
